About The Production:

Based on the Oscar nominated film, Billy Elliot™ tells the inspirational story of a young boy’s struggle to break free from his family’s expectations. Set in a small English town during the 1984/’85 miners’ strike, the musical follows Billy as he stumbles his way out of the boxing ring and into a ballet class, where he discovers a passion for dance that changes both his life and that of the community forever. Winner of 10 Tony Awards – including best musical and best book – featuring sensational dance, a powerful storyline, and unforgettable music by Sir Elton John, Billy Elliot truly is an awe-inspiring production and a must see for any musical lover.
